Swygert & Associates, Ltd. is a consulting engineering firm located in Columbia, South Carolina, which was established in 1977 to provide quality mechanical consulting engineering services for building owners, architects, and contractors.  Providing design services in the HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection fields, the company has established a reputation for quality services and satisfied clients.

At Swygert & Associates, Ltd., we believe that relationships are the most important thing that we can build.  We treat each project as the most important project because to each building owner, that’s just what it is.  Whether large or small, we treat each project as unique and work with the owner or client to evaluate all possible options to assure that we can meet the needs of the project within the budget established.  Our diverse portfolio includes secondary education, K-12, commercial, civic, institutional, and religious projects of varying sizes from new construction to renovation.

The recent trend toward sustainable design practices has not been missed by the engineers at Swygert & Associates, Ltd.  While every project might not strive to achieve LEED accredited status, many lessons have been learned from these developments and can be applied to every project for the long-term benefits of the building and reduced energy consumption.
